I’ve even considered purchasing its particular add-on but I don’t feel this is neither fair nor wise, as I suspect there might be a simpler solution you members of the community might suggest. Now it looks like I can’t even play the 2 scenarios of the Fowler at all and I might as well not have it in my collection. I am very hesitant to manually run all those installers as Plan B of the troubleshoot as I am new to all this technical work just to run a new game I purchased and because I’m afraid it will only screw up the whole game completely. As far as the new and unaccountable red locked symbol, I did run a ‘Verify Integrity of Game Cache.’ on the whole game as instructed in the troubleshoot but it did not solve the Quick-Drive problem, and probably even caused the locking of the train. Even this never loaded again: just the message ‘Failed to Load.’. The first time I attempted to load the Fowler in a Quick Drive, a strange world emerged with milk-pail-like objects all over the land and sky and an incomplete station, no train, no track.

Of the two Free Roam scenarios offered under its name, only ‘Settle Summer’ loads the other one: ‘Carlisle at Night’ only loads a Class 37 in its place.Īnd worse at least this beloved locomotive only used to load in its own Single Player Scenario ‘the Ribble Runaround’ (which I happily played a few times) but now, it is locked, accessible only after a list of 7 other scenarios are completed, most with post-modern trains I had no interest in playing at all.

The ‘Settle to Carlisle’ pack I purchased for Train Simulator 2013 includes a small 0-6-0 Fowler ‘Preserved’ Locomotive along with the others.
